Leading Through Change: A Leadership Development Course
Introduction: I use Rise for structured, self-paced learning pathways, especially onboarding and role-based curricula. At Elevate, I used Rise (alongside Storyline and Vyond) to build a 200+ employee, 700+ contractor onboarding program that cut new-hire ramp time by 50% through scenario-based design and modular delivery.
Challenge: People managers at two of my past organizations needed practical, hands-on support for leading their teams through organizational change, not another abstract change management deck, but something that gave them real tools to use in the moment, both emotionally and operationally.
Approach: I designed and developed Leading Through Change, an interactive Rise 360 course built around Bloom's Taxonomy for measurable learning objectives. I grounded the content in established change-management models, the Kübler-Ross curve and Bridges' Transition Model, so it would land as psychologically relevant rather than generic. Lessons were broken into bite-sized sections blending text, imagery, and interaction (accordions, process blocks, quizzes), with relatable scenarios and action checklists so leaders walked away with something usable. Frequent knowledge checks and reflection prompts reinforced the material without overloading learners.
Result: Adopted as internal leadership-development content in two organizations.
